.just a short update. =)
schooling days have been fine lately. trials still going on..but i guess most of us are not really stressed up for this 2nd trial? quite a few papers' questions leaked..and most of us actually knew the chapters that are coming out for some papers..

anyway, we've gotten back most of our 1st trials results..the results were..satisfying. i've done all i could and i guess that's what i deserve to get. haha but no, i'm not saying that i scored well for all the subjects. =p

i was just too bored just now and started browsing through some files in my computer..here're 2 of the different school projects i've done before..=)

this was the erm..handicraft? that i did back in form 3. wood was the only material used..haha but i can't remember what type of wood did i use to do this..i personally liked this thing very much as i did it all by myself - from the sketching of the design, measuring and cutting of wood, attachment of wood planks to the painting of the product..i still remember going to a few hardware shops, and asked the shopkeeper whether or not do they sell pink paints. and after failing to buy the pink coloured paint that i wanted so badly, i decided to buy a tin of red paint and a tin of white paint. and i mixed them to get a pink colour!

haha i remember how delighted was i when i manage to get a pink colour. not that i didnt know about the mixing of colours, but it was the shopkeepers who told me that paints of different colours can't be mixed as they can't blend well. so, stubborn me who's so determined to colour my project with pink colour decided to take the risk. and i succeded! :)

and this is the back view of my project! :D. unfortunately, i didnt get this back from my teacher..apparently, our projects were kept in a cupboard that's severely attacked by termites..so our projects vanished with the cupboard. :(

this was one of our posters for the NIE (newspaper in education) programme organised by The Star publications. we joined this competition/programme in groups. i was in the same group with leanne, chia sing, ee leen and pei wen..haha this was a simple poster that doesn't really require deep thinking to figure out the message that was trying to be conveyed. will post up the other posters we've done once i manage to search for the pics =)
